Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver – Saturday only
With over 35 albums to their credit, Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver have multiple Grammy, Dove, ICM, IBMA and SPBGMA Award nominations, and are seven-time winners of IBMA’s Vocal Group of the Year. Doyle Lawson received two nominations in the 17th Annual Inspirational Country Music (ICM) Awards held in Nashville on October 28, 2011, with fellow nominees including such country giants as George Strait and Carrie Underwood. Lawson also won two IBMA Awards in September, and was recently heralded by journalist Craig Havighurst as “one of music’s lions at this point.”
Of Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver’s performance at the 2011 IBMA Awards Press Conference in August, which garnered three standing ovations from a sold-out crowd in Nashville, Havighurst wrote: “There was no question who was going to close the show. Doyle Lawson is one of music’s lions at this point, and when he came out in perhaps the most beautiful western jacket I’ve ever seen… he was a holy vision. … When DLQ, in quartet mode, nailed the final chorus of the a cappella gospel song “He Made It All Right,” I swear we were mainlining the holy spirit. You know how the word awesome gets overused and misused? Here’s where it applies.”
Legendary in the Bluegrass genre and called a “mandolin virtuoso” with “perfectly silken harmony” by The New York Times, Doyle Lawson also broke new ground in 2011 with a benchmark Children’s Hospital and Arena Tour, the first tour of its kind in any genre, combining National Anthem performances at major sporting arenas with performances for boys and girls at Children’s Hospitals in the same cities or regions. The tour combines helping hospitalized children with inspiring national patriotism, and Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver performed for nearly 108,000 people during six games in 2011 (not including live broadcast audiences for the NBA and NCAA games), as well as for children, families, and staff at four children’s hospitals. Pretty impressive numbers from the little boy from Kingsport… who grew up to be a LEGEND.

Joe Mullins & The Radio Ramblers – Thursday only
Joe Mullins & The Radio Ramblers have an energetic mix of quality Bluegrass and Gospel music, a professional presentation, inventive instrumental work, a wide variety of vocal arrangements including a capella quartets and tasteful, down-home humor.
Their professionalism and successful, heavily played recordings have kept them in demand with a national audience. JMRR have been seen by thousands of fans across the country at nearly every national bluegrass event.
A contributing factor to JMRR’s success is their active marketing capabilities, due to Mullins’ network of radio stations in the Midwest, including a 24/7 webcast available at myclassiccountry.com or the new “Classic Country Radio” app for Android and iPhone.

The Grascals – Friday only
Great musicians will always find a way to make good music, but for great musicians to make great music, they must form a bond – one that, more often than not, goes beyond the purely musical to the personal. For The Grascals, that bond has been forged at the intersection of personal friendships, shared professional resumes and an appreciation for the innovative mingling of bluegrass and country music that has been a hallmark of the Nashville scene for more than forty years. As their releases prove, The Grascals’ rare musical empathy gives them an unerring ear for just the right touch to illuminate each offering’s deepest spirit – whether they’re digging into one of their original songs or reworking a bluegrass classic or pop standard.
Dave Adkins Band – Friday and Saturday
There is no mistaking the raw and powerful vocals by singer, songwriter and guitarist Dave Adkins. His significant chart success, coupled with his stellar live performances, have made him one of most talked about male vocalist in acoustic music.
Adkins was born in Pikeville, Kentucky and makes his home in Elkhorn City. He began playing and singing when he was just eight years old and joined a band with fellow classmates performing at schools and other venues. At 17, he began playing bluegrass music at Dollywood where he stayed two years. A year later, Adkins was named a Kentucky Colonel – the highest title of honor bestowed by the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Commissions for Kentucky colonels are given by the governor and the secretary of state to individuals in recognition of noteworthy accomplishments and outstanding service to a community, state or the nation. He is also a proud Mason and Shriner.
After Dollywood, Adkins took a turn doing solo Country shows and later performed with a Rock band especially in the Chicago area. He also served as a Country Radio DJ as Brave Dave Adkins, the Original Midnight Cowboy at WBHR in Pikeville, Ky.
No Time Flatt – Friday and Saturday
NO TIME FLATT is blazing a red-hot-trail on today’s bluegrass music scene, with their highly energetic and hard drivin’ live performances. Centered around tight harmony vocals and great song selections, No Time Flatt strives to perform the highest quality version of bluegrass music, by selecting great songs and material that has not been recorded often in bluegrass, including originals and music from other genres, tempered with a mix of some classic bluegrass standards which are uniquely arranged by the band. Formed in 2015, No Time Flatt includes the talents of Patrick Cupples (bass, vocals), Steve Moore (banjo,guitar, vocals), Kevin Wright (guitar, vocals), Becky Weaver (fiddle, vocals) and Kevin Keen (mandolin). No Time Flatt has released their first self titled project, which is available for download at many digital download outlets as well as on physical CD . Fans of No Time Flatt are lovingly referred to as Flattheads! No Time Flatt was received the “Bluegrass Band of the Year” award at the Tennessee Music Awards at the University of Memphis Lambuth on October 5, 2017.
Dueling Hearts – Thursday and Friday
“Dueling Hearts” is an acoustic, bluegrass gospel band that will pluck your heart strings with tight vocal harmonies and strong banjo and mandolin licks. Their songs combine all aspects of the heart such as the wonderful love of God, love for one another, and songs of heartache.” About 20 years ago, Wil and Darla joined with a bunch of friends and formed the band “The Wortham Stringbenders”. They performed at many local bluegrass festivals, such as Tres Rios, Llano, Spring Creek, etc., as well as traveled to Manhatten, KS and Minden, LA. That band slowly disappeared so they could raise their family. They founded their current band, “Dueling Hearts” once their children reached high school.

Twang – Saturday only
Twang is an all-girl string band, which is the latest traditional music inspiration of Mountain View, Arkansas, “Folk music …capital of the world”. This young and energetic group is the newest singing sensation and range in ages from 13 years to 14 years old. They sprang from the renowned Music Roots instructional program which is available to them beginning in elementary school. Their command of their instruments is far beyond their tender years, and they have a dynamic and natural stage presence, which thrills every audience by their performances. Anna Caldwell, playing mandolin and fiddle; Lillyanne McCool, playing banjo and bass; Rebecca Pool, playing fiddle; Gabi Pervis, playing guitar. The magnificent sounds created by their instruments and harmonious singing, are further complimented by the talents of their adult chaperone and bass player Crystal McCool. For the last two years, Twang has captivated audiences at regional shows, bluegrass festivals, private booking as well as local churches and has amazed audiences with their harmonic ballads, old-time, bluegrass and gospel tunes. Twang is a contract staff band at the Ozark Folk Center State Park in Mountain View, Arkansas, and they perform frequently during the months of April through October.

Williamson Branch – Thursday and Friday
Nashville based, Williamson Branch, is a high energy, high steppin’ show that features a fine-tuned variety of bluegrass, gospel and country music, accentuated by world class Appalachian clog dancing. As Pinecastle recording artists, this family fills every performance with memorable moments of love and laughter. In recent years audiences from Canada to the Cayman Islands, Maine to the Mexican border have thrilled to the soaring vocal harmonies and sparkling personalities of Williamson Branch!

Highway 36 – Saturday matinee only
Highway 36 came together in 2015 with four friends, after playing in various bands over the years. Our music is inspired by the likes of IIIrd Tyme Out, Larry Sparks, J D Crow and Bill Monroe. With Butch Suitt on guitar and vocals, Eddie Bartley on mandolin and vocals, Randall Wyatt on banjo and vocals, and Connie Bartley on bass and vocals a typical show will consist of hard driving bluegrass, grassed-up country, and soulful gospel, something for everyone.

The Keisler Brothers Band – Thursday and Saturday
Redmond, Rick and Randy Keisler brought their God-given talents and showmanship to the stage for over 27 years. The Keisler Brothers appreciate their loyal, enthusiastic fans, friends & promoters that have supported them over the years.
The band’s love for Bluegrass music, good Christian roots, and rural upbringing gives their music a natural flow for a family oriented, high energy show with something for everyone.
